Pantai Banyu Tibo Pacitan - Waterfalls On The Beach

Arisarmu - Pacitan Regency has several picturesque beaches which stretch along the south coast of Java island. The unique phenomenon one is Banyu Tibo Beach (Pantai Banyu Tibo) with its waterfalls that flow right onto the sand, offers an exciting getaway adventure.

Nestled in Widoro Village, roughly 30 minutes west of Klayar beach, Banyu Tibo, Javanese words for "falling water", is a small light brown sand beach which still gives travellers fun and impressive vacation involving coral beach walk, barefoot walk on the beach and get wet under natural waterfalls.

Banyu Tibo Beach along with Klayar Beach and Gong Cave are 3 Must-Visit Attractions in Pacitan Regency, according to a seller woman whom I met when I was still at Klayar Beach. I firmly agree with her. They should be in your itinerary list if you intend to have an excursion to this Regency.

If you are a big fan of beach and waterfall this place is great, but very narrow road to get there, just enough for one car. The location is approximately eight hundred meters from the main road. And I think both ticket officers and parking attendants will manage it to avoid stuck between cars which are going in and going out.
Banyu Tibo Beach is beautiful and it is crowded during national holidays and weekends and parking can be difficult, therefore you have to come early as there is only a limited parking area.

Banyu Tibo Beach has been officially opened for public since 2012 and it's presently managed by the locals. Other basic facilities, including some "warung" (food stalls), some toilets and a viewing post. The journey down the small beach where a stream with its fresh and clean water leaps down from the top creating waterfalls where visitors enjoy getting wet down there.

If having excursion among many visitors make you unpleasant, you don't need to worry. There is a peaceful escape on the other side of Banyu Tibo Beach where you just need to walk across the corals and find a serene spot while gazing Indonesia's ocean. However you aren't allowed to go there during high tide because it may endanger your safety.
