Inggit Strawberry Farm Banyuroto, an agro tourism near Merapi-Merbabu




Visiting a strawberry farm has been popular for years where its location, usually in a high altitude, offers visitors with cool fresh air.

Located in Banyuroto village, Sawangan, just before the gate of Merapi-Merbabu Agropolitan area, Magelang Regency, Inggit Strawberry Farm, owned by Banyuroto Village Chief, pak Yanto (Mr. Yanto), is a semi organic farm.


Strawberry, which is pretty to our eyes, is well known as a cake topping, pie filling, juice, ice cream, milkshakes and more.
Here at Inggit Strawberry Farm, you pay an entrance fee at IDR 5,000, then you can explore the farm and enjoy taking photos and picking strawberries and the price of fresh-picked strawberries is at IDR 100k/kg.




Pak Yanto, the owner, has been managing Inggit Strawberry Farm for more than 10 years. He also provides agribusiness education training for students of SD (elementary school), SMP (junior high school), and SMA (senior high school). And his farm sells strawberry processed products as well, such as strawberry jam for IDR 10k and "dodol" strawberry (sweet candy made from strawberry, fermented casava, coconut, sugar and salt) for IDR 25k.
