Location
If you live near Bawen and wish to have food or merely have some drinks and snacks in an eatery with your family where you can view a nice park, then you may hope to see and feed some cute animals.
Since you can not expect much from an animal cafe which now getting popular in Indonesia.
Cimory (Cisarua Mountain Dairy), a food and beverage company which established in 2006 by Bambang Sutantio, who started his business from his garage, has opened "Cimory on the Valley (the others are : River Side and Mountain View) since 2013 on jalan Raya Soekarno-Hatta km 30 Bawen, Semarang Regency. It's easily found for you will see some big road signs to get there.
For entrance fee, you are required to pay for IDR 15k (around USD 1.15) and you will get a delicious fresh yogurt drink for accompanying you exploring its beautiful garden.
On the Valley
When you hear the word "on the Valley", I guess you can visualize what Cimory looks like. It's exactly right. You will find a beautiful well-designed garden in a lower part next to a river.
A good combination of vegetable, fruit, hardwood trees and of couse ornamental plants which are grown only in tropical countries make this place fits for a family.
Refer to a reality that a valley simbolizes a prosperity where there are plenty of spring waters and its fertile land is suitable to plant crops and raise cattle.
It is a part of company's strategy to sell high quality dairy products in a nice environment to build a strong brand image.
A mini Zoo
Visiting an animal park is truly delighful, especially for children which is believed to boost their empathy and build inteligence and their parents can receive its benefit as well for it is refreshing and reducing tension from daily routine.

Dairy Cows
Here you will see some dairy cattle or dairy cows which are bred to produce large volumes of milk. It is a good source of calcium, protein, vitamin D and potassium which play an important role for our healthy bones and teeth.
Rabbit Feeding
If you come to Cimory on the weekend from 8.30 am to 4 pm, it's rabbit feeding time, you can see, play and feed rabbits in an enclosure rabbit park and you are only required to buy a pack of carrot for IDR 10k (around USD 0.75), and have fun with rabbits.
Arapaima Gigas
You don't need to go to a park of fresh water aquarium to see a giant fresh water fish, for one of the world's biggest fresh water fish can be found here at Cimory.
Arapaima Gigas or Arapaima fish, a native Amazon fish, can reach its length up to 2.5 meters and weigh up to 200 kilograms feed mainly on fish, shrimps and small animals (you can watch daily feeding time at 10 am and 3 pm).
They can stay under water for 10 to 15 minutes before breathing oxygen, so they tend to stay near water's surface.
Sadly, their population is decreasing due to heavy fishing.
Other animals
You can see Mandarin ducks (Yuan Yang), which often appeared in Chinese legend stories as a symbol of true love and devotion, and other animals, included birds.
Have food and drink
After walking up and down Cimory's Valley, it is the best time for you to enjoy food and drink at Cimory's restaurant. The available menus are Indonesian, Chinese and European dishes.
Before going home, you can buy souvenirs at its stores, such as milk, yogurt, chocolate and many more.
