Every tourist attraction in Indonesia has its own unique beauty and it will booth the curiosity feeling of visitors to visit it.
Magelang Regency, located in Central Java Province, is home to many interesting tourist attractions. Both cultural and natural beauty, one of them is Sekar Langit Waterfall.
The waterfall is nestled in Telogorejo Village, District of Grabag. It's 24 kilometers from Magelang City and approximately 41 minutes drive to arrive at the location.
According to a parking attendant whom I met, Sekar Langit Waterfall is on the foot of Mount Andong. And the water originates in the Mount Merbabu. Therefore, it still has water flow throughout the year.
Measuring 25 meters high, Sekar Langit Waterfall is one of the best known tourist attractions in Magelang Regency.
A nice walk for 400 meters from the wide parking lot takes visitors to the waterfall which provides amazing panoramic view of a bamboo forest.
'Sekar Langit' are Javanese words for 'flowers which come down from the sky.' The folklore of 'Jaka Tarub and 7 nymps' is a renowned story among the locals which relates to the waterfall.
Overall, Sekar Langit Waterfall is a quite nice place for relaxing if you are fond of a nature.
