Temanggung is the capital of Temanggung Regency. It's located on the provincial road that connects Semarang - Purwokerto. You may have visited or passed through this town. According to a parking attendant whom I met there, this eatery opens everyday from 07:00 a.m to 08:00 p.m.
Soto Ayam Pringgading (Pringgading Chicken Soup) is originally from Semarang city. It is made and processed based on the authentic recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation since 1940. This delicious clear soup is served with shredded chicken, rice, vermicelli, fried shallots, celery leaves and herbs.
To enhance its flavour, I love to add soy sauce, sambal (chili paste), and little squeeze of lemon in it. Some tasty side dishes - such as fried tofu, fried tempeh, krupuk (crackers) and intestine satay - are also available to accompany the small portion of Soto Ayam. So you should eat more to make you full.
