You know that many Javanese (a majority of ethnic group in Java island, Indonesia), including Depok Beach fishermen, still believe in sacred days of "Selasa Kliwon" (tuesday kliwon) and "Jumat Kliwon" (friday kliwon). Those are related to Javanese "Pasaran" days (5-day: Pahing, Pon, Wage, Kliwon, Legi), combined with "Dina Pitu" (7-day: sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday.
So, on those days, "selasa kliwon" and "jumat kliwon" fishermen don't catch fish and the fish auction center and the fish market are closed as well.
