Pengayoman Beach, Attracts Many Local Tourists To Come During Holiday Season In Lombok

Arisarmu - Unlike other popular tourist attractions in Lombok which entice foreign tourists to come during holiday season, however Pengayoman beach may be only visited by local tourists.

Visiting Pengayoman beach reminded me to some beaches in Cilacap Regency and Kebumen Regency in Central Java. Those Regencies are near to my hometown Purwokerto. There visitors will be presented with black sand beaches which are same as here.

Pengayoman beach is perched in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara or just across from the unique and instagramable ancient trees of Lian Langka which I visited first before heading to this beach. Although I didn't have any plan or I accidentally stranded on the beach after taking some photos and being amazed with old-time trees, so when I discovered the beach, my curiosity to explore it suddenly immersed. Then entered it and parked my motorbike on a shady parking lot. Here I just paid IDR 5K (USD 0.35 ) for parking while the entrance fee was free.

As I came to this beach during holiday season although it wasn't at a weekend, the beach was quite crowded with local tourists but I didn't see any foreign tourists. It's just an ordinary beach where visitors mostly spend their holiday here with their families. I saw some of them sitting on gazebos, they looked enjoy their vacation while having some food and drinks and others were strolling along the beach and some were sitting under a shady tree.

I found an empty seat, then I ordered a cup noodle and a portion of lotis, sliced fresh fruits and cucumber with sweet chili paste, while viewing the blue sea water, some ships and Sumbawa island that looked tiny from distance. I was truly enjoyed my time there.
