Taman Bunga Celosia - Alternative Tourism in Bandungan

Arisarmu - Celosia Flower Garden (Taman Bunga Celosia) Bandungan is an instagrammable two-hectare garden, designed as an interesting recreation area with a series of famous world miniatures.

Bandungan is a sub-district in Semarang Regency, situated on the slope of mount Ungaran, has long been renowned as a popular weekend getaway spot for local people.

Although many travelers may only familiar with two mainstreams tourist attractions in Bandungan, namely Gedong Songo, a Hindu Temple Complex with nine temples spread on the slope of mount Ungaran with the elevation around 1.200 meters above the sea level, including hot spring water which contains sulphur, camping ground and exciting horseback riding while enjoying the beautiful landscape with its fresh cool air.

Secondly is Umbul Sidomukti, a nature tourism that presents the coolness and beauty of the slope of Ungaran mountain from the other side is supported by natural fresh water pool and outbound facilities which will boost your adrenaline.

Besides Bandungan is the main production area for cutting flowers in Central Java. And most of the flowers in this sub-district are produced on small farms by a large number of farmers with an integrated planting system with vegetables. Bandungan produces cutting flowers, such as lily, rose, aster, gerbera and dahlia.

Celosia Flower Garden, a new tourist attraction in Bandungan, was launched in the end of 2017. It occupies around two hectares land featuring a various flowers, for instance celosia and other flowers which unfortunately not given nameplates. Some remarkable world miniatures; Merlion, Eiffel Tower and a windmill ornamented with plastic tulips, become most instagramable selfie spots.
