If you are Indonesians, I'm sure you have ever tasted these steamed foods. The high-energy food sources listed below are quite tasty. They are also nice to be served as a snack.

Cassava

Cassava is the second most popular staple food for Indonesians after rice. This plant is able to grow on any types of lands, even during dry season. Cassava can be processed in various type of foods. Such as steamed cassava, deep-fried cassava, cassava cake, cassava porridge and many more.

Sweet potato

According to detikfood (5/9/2019), sweet potato is a good source of carbohydrate which contain starch, omega 3, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc and also vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin K. Moreover, many traditional Indonesian snacks are also made with sweet potatoes. Such as timus, getuk goreng, donat and many more.

Breadfruit

As it is noted by Wikipedia, breadfruit is native of Maluku islands, New Guinea and the Philippines. Nowadays, the plants have spread in other tropical regions. So you can find many of then in Carribbean, Central America and South America. Both type and unripe fruit can be processed to be delicious foods.
